Sam received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Illinois in 1976. Sam also received a B.S. in political science and history from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, in 1973. Sam has been practicing tax and accounting since 1981. He specializes in tax planning and tax preparation for individuals, businesses, trust and estates.

Sam is recognized as an expert in personal income tax matters. He is a member of the AICPA Tax Section. He has appeared in Money Magazine, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Bucks County Courier Times and the Jewish Exponent. Sam has also been a guest host on the Harry Gross Financial radio show.

Pat received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Joseph’s University in 1977. He began his career in public accounting with the firm in 1978 and became a partner in 1991. Pat is the firm’s senior audit partner responsible for the firm’s audit and accounting practice. He is the Partner-in-Charge for Not-For-Profit audits. Pat also has extensive experience with business tax planning and preparation for the construction industry.

Pat is very committed to the community at large. He is a former board member of Valley Athletic Association and a long-time softball, baseball and soccer coach. He is the president and co-founder of the Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships to deserving students in the Philadelphia area in memory of his parents. He is a member and former treasure of Business Networking Associates (BNA). Pat was also a director and original co-organizer of Prestige Community Bank a small community bank serving the Bucks and Montgomery county areas, which later merged with First Priority Bank.

Tom received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the State University of New York at Albany in 1975.

He is a Certified Public Accountant with the Personal Financial Specialist credential. He is also a Certified Financial Planner®. Tom has been a partner since 2000. He handles tax matters for individuals and businesses as well as general accounting matters for privately owned businesses.

Besides tax planning and preparation, Tom provides personalized financial planning reviews for our clients, including retirement and estate planning. Through our Registered Investment Advisor subsidiary, Tom offers comprehensive and unbiased investment advice and investment management.

For our business clients, Tom’s strong background in pension and administration, makes him the perfect resource for building a plan to defer save for retirement, retain valued employees and defer taxes.

Jeff received his bachelors degree in accounting from La Salle University in 1991. He began his career in public accounting and transitioned into accounting for the non-profit sector in 1993. Upon gaining valuable experience in the non-profit sector, Jeff transitioned back to public accounting and became a partner in RSCM.

Jeff is a Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisor and a Peachtree Premier Advisor and is well versed in the installation, training and use of QuickBooks and Peachtree.

Jeff is also experienced in the preparation of multi-state tax returns, and works extensively with individuals transitioning from one state to another. Always friendly and available to help anyone seeking his assistance, Jeff believes that “whoever he is speaking to at that moment is the most important person to our accounting firm.”

Charles Haig, CPA

Chuck received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Villanova University in 1990.

He is also a proud 1986 graduate of Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia. He began his career in public accounting in 1990 primarily concentrating on Business and Individual tax preparation and became a Partner in 1999.

With over 30 years’ experience Chuck provides a variety of tax services to corporations, trusts, partnerships and individuals, knowing that every client is different but just as important to him. Tax planning, business advisory services, business transitions and retirement planning are just a few of the other services he provides. He also has vast experience in franchise accounting and tax services, serving many clients in the Dunkin Donuts, Subway, Burger 21 and other franchise systems.

Chuck is a Certified QuickBooks Professional Advisor and a Sage/Peachtree Premier Advisor and is well versed in the installation, training and use of QuickBooks and Sage/Peachtree.

In his personal time he enjoys spending time with his family and supporting all the Philadelphia sports teams especially his Villanova Wildcats.

Kristine received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Philadelphia University in 2006. She was recognized for her studies with the “2006 PICPA Outstanding Senior” award. She started working for Sam in high school part-time and has been with RSCM full-time since graduation.

Kristine is experienced in both individual and business tax return preparation, multi-state corporate returns and local business returns. She also enjoys preparing not-for-profit tax returns.

Tracey received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Holy Family University in 2008. She started working here in 2007 as an intern and became full time following graduation.

Scott received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Temple University in 2004. He started working for the company full time as a staff accountant in 2004.

Scott is experienced in both individual and business tax return preparation, as well as nonprofit return and multi-state tax returns. He is experienced in both Sage Peachtree and QuickBooks accounting software where he is certified in the latest QuickBooks desktop and online versions. He has experience with preparing business valuations. He is also part of the Internal Revenue Service Annual Filing Season Program for qualified tax preparers.

Julie received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Temple University in 1992. She started working in her father’s small accounting firm in high school and college and became a full-time employee after her college graduation. Julie prides herself on the long-standing relationship she has with many of her clients, some as long as 30 years.

Julie started out as a bookkeeper and several years later became a tax preparer. Julie enjoys preparing both business and personal tax returns. She also has experience assisting clients with Quickbooks.

Jim Monahan is a tax and accounting professional with over 30 years of
experience in the preparation of individual and business income tax returns. Jim is
a staff accountant at Rosenberg Smith Cooney & Migliore, PC an accounting firm
located in Bensalem. Jim graduated from Philadelphia University with a Bachelor
of Science degree in accounting. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Society of
Tax & Accounting professionals (PSTAP). He grew up in the neighborhood of
Roxborough in Philadelphia and attended Roman Catholic high school. He is
married and lives in Plymouth Meeting with his wife Mary and has three grown
children two sons and a married daughter. He enjoys spending time with his
family especially his grandson and friends, listening to music, playing golf and is a
sports enthusiast.
